Solveig Konrad, 64, a resident of rural Parkers Prairie and formerly of Prior Lake, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 at Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie.

Visitation will take place from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Police are investigating a second threat to Prior Lake High School received by e-mail Tuesday morning.

The school earlier received a threat of a potential incident at the school that could happen Thursday morning (Nov. 20).

Meeting tonight on ag tax changes

A public informational meeting will be held Nov. 18
at the Scott County Law Enforcement Center, located in the same
building as the Scott County Jail, starting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the legal changes to the Gren Acres program and answer questions you might have regarding them.

By enrolling in the Green Acres program, taxes are lower on agricultural land than they would be otherwise. More information on this meeting from the county is below:
