Bush is the daughter of Mark and Lynne Bush of Prior Lake. She is a 2005 graduate of Prior Lake High School and Minnesota School of Beauty. She is a cosmetologist at Life Spa and attending Dakota County Technical College to become a nurse.

Staupe is the son of Robert and Vicki Staupe of Lakeville. He is a 2002 graduate of Lakeville High School. He is a union carpenter and soon will complete his apprenticeship program.
