Police calls for July 2 to 9

The Prior Lake Police Department responded to the following incidents between July 2 and 9. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.

DWI

July 5: An 18-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for fourth-degree driving while impaired (DWI) in the 5300 block of Candy Cove Trail.  

July 5: A 26-year-old Shakopee man was arrested and jailed for third-degree DWI-test refusal in the 4400 block of Fountain Hills Drive.

Theft

July 2: Personal items valued at $520 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 15200 block of Fox Tail Court.

July 2: A radio and MP3 player valued at $400 were reported stolen from a vehicle near Shady Beach Trail and Birchwood Avenue.

July 3: A 26-year-old Farmington woman was cited for theft at Mystic Lake Casino. It was reported that the woman stole hotel towels valued at $180.

July 4: Theft of a license plate was reported near 140th Street and Pike Lake Trail.

July 6: A global positioning unit and a radar detector valued at $650 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 5900 block of Timber Trail.

Warrants

July 2: A 40-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested and jailed for two felony theft warrants out of Scott County.

July 3: A 20-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested and jailed for a failure-to-appear warrant out of Scott County.

July 3: A 38-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested and jailed for a warrant out of Ramsey County near 154th Street and Wilds Parkway. The woman was also cited for driving after revocation.

July 3: A 35-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for a felony forgery warrant out of Dakota County.

Liquor Violations

July 3: Police responded to a call of a prowler in the 5900 block of Crossandra Street. An 18-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for trespassing, minor consumption of alcohol and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

July 4: Police responded to a report of a woman passed out in a boat at the docks of Captain Jacks, 3950 Green Heights Trail. An 18-year-old Chaska woman was cited for minor consumption of alcohol.

Miscellaneous

July 3: Police responded to a call of a domestic assault in the 16600 block of Five Hawks Avenue. It was reported that two sisters were fighting. A 21-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested and jailed for fifth-degree domestic assault. An 18-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested and jailed for interfering with a 911 call and second-degree domestic assault.

July 3: A 47-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for fifth-degree domestic assault in the 16200 block of Lakeside Avenue.

July 6: Police responded to a bar fight at T.J Hooligan’s, 16731 Highway 13. Three men were injured in the fight and were transported to St. Francis Medical Center. A 38-year-old Prior Lake man, a 27-year-old Prior Lake man and a 23-year-old Burnsville man were all involved in the fight. There are conflicting stories and all the men involved were drunk, according to police. The case is under investigation.
