The Prior Lake girls golf team finished seventh in the 13-team Hutchinson Invitational on May 1 at Crow River Country Club.The Lakers had a team score of 402, which was 51 shots behind champion Hopkins.

Mankato West was third (367), followed by Hutchinson and Litchfield (382), Delano (303) and Rockford (400).

Lane Dulon led the Lakers with a 94, including recording her first birdie of the season.

Rounding out the rest of the Lakers’ lineup was Nikki Novak (101), Ellie Huntington (102), Pear Kamolkol (105) and Nicole Myers (121).

“We are having trouble breaking the 100 barrier,” said Prior Lake coach Corey Carney.

The Lakers will return to action on Thursday, May 8 when it competes in Missota Conference tournament at Northfield Country Club starting at 3 p.m.
