Brazilian musician brings sounds to Minneapolis

Last weekend at a potluck and night out in Minneapolis, our Rotary exchange team got a taste of what to expect abroad as we hosted team members from Brazil for the evening.

I learned some important things:  a) Everyone brings desserts to potluck events b) We’re going to have very full days that will require lots of energy on our trip, if it's anything like what the Brazilian team experienced.

The Brazil visitors even gave Minnesotan’s a musical sampling when Fabiano Araujo, a music professor in the group, jumped up and played the piano at the Shout House in Block E to entertain the crowd. (You can hear his music, that combines traditional Brazilian sounds of samba and bossa nova with other rhythms, at www.fabianoaraujo.com [1])

It's one week until we depart for Vitoria. Time to start packing!
