A 27-year-old Fridley man was sentenced to serve 10 years and two months in prison for first-degree sale of a controlled substance in Scott County District Court by Judge Jerome Abrams on March 27.
Andrew Jerel Storkamp was also sentenced to pay an $80 court fee and provide a DNA sample.
Storkamp was arrested for possession of 47.7 grams of crack cocaine in the 2600 block of Santee Trail at approximately 4:19 p.m. on Nov. 15. The approximate street value of the cocaine was $1,900. He was jailed in the Scott County Jail.

According to the criminal complaint, police received a call at about 4 p.m. that a man driving a black, four-door Cadillac would be arriving at the house in possession of a large amount of cocaine.
At approximately 4:19 p.m., police responded to a second 911 call from the house in the 2600 block of Santee Trail. Upon arrival, police saw Storkamp walking to the house. Storkamp hesitated when he saw the squad car and then continued walking to the house.
Police approached Storkamp and asked him to take his hands out of his pocket. Storkamp refused several time before complying with the order. After Storkamp was arrested, police searched his pockets and seized several individually packaged bags of crack cocaine and $1,864 in cash.
According to the criminal complaint, Storkamp called the house six times earlier that day in an attempt to sell cocaine to a person in treatment.
Storkamp was previously convicted on two counts of second-degree sale of drugs in Stearns County in January 2002 and again in August 2002.
Storkamp faced a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
