The second phase of work on County Road 12 will begin the week of April 21.

Work on a storm water pond, storm sewer, curb, gutter and paving will take place between Stemmer Ridge Road and Howard Lake Road and continue until late June.

The road will be closed during the work. Homeowners and emergency vehicles will be allowed access at all times, according to the Scott County Public Works department.

The majority of phase one, which included realignment of the County Road 12 and Highway 13 intersection, was completed last fall. The contractor will finish sidewalk, trail and turf work and the final lift of blacktop this spring.
