Chamber column: Step into spring with Ladies Night Out

The Prior Lake Chamber is planning these upcoming events:

Ladies Night Out on April 10. This downtown event is a favorite for 500 women Sandi FleckSandi

participants and over 40 exhibitors/vendors. This event is for registered participants only. If you haven’t registered and would like more information, you may pick up a form at participating downtown businesses or at www.priorlakechamber.com [1]. Please register to participate so we may plan accordingly. The theme for Ladies Night Out is “Step Into Spring.”

Senior luncheon on May 5. This popular event is at the Prior Lake VFW and sponsored by many Chamber members and the VFW.  We will have a total of 300 tickets available on April 7 at the following locations: Club Prior, Prior Lake State Bank and the Chamber office.

Golfing at Legends Golf Club on May 13. This event is co-sponsored by the Chamber and the Prior Lake Optimist Club. Monies raised go to Safe Haven. Anyone is invited to attend and golf; forms are available online at the Chamber Web site.

Lakefront Days 2008 from July 28 through Aug. 3. Lakefront Days is looking for Miss Prior Lake candidates. The candidate must be a senior at Prior Lake High School or live within the boundaries of Prior Lake. Forms are available at www.priorlakechamber.com [2]. We are also looking for candidates for the Prior Lake Skipper and Sailorette. This event is for both girls and boys between 6 and 8 years old. New members

We welcome the following new members to the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce:

Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys The Golf Club-Southwest, Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, Interiors by Decorating Den-Stacy Rosckes, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Seriesse International and S Force, Train America Athletic Development Center.
