Loehr is the daughter of Don and Ardell Loehr of Prior Lake. She attended Prior Lake High School and the University of St. Thomas and is employed at Action Overhead Garage Door.

Tomsich is the son of Jack and Susan Tomsich of Prior Lake. He attended Prior Lake High School and the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is a project analyst at Northern Tool and Equipment.

A May 17, 2008 wedding is planned at the Church of St. Michael with a reception at The Wilds Golf Club.
