Marc and Jill (Carey) Dawson of Janesville, Minn. announce the birth of their daughter, Brooke Marie Dawson, at 8:23 p.m. Jan. 23, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital of Mankato.

She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. She has blue eyes and blond hair.

Grandparents are Dick and Linda Dawson of Windom, Minn. and Harold and Debra Orstad of Prior Lake. Great grandparents are Lola Peterreins of Lamberton, Minn. and Grace Rosten of Glenwood, Minn.Brooke was welcomed home by her sister, Alivia Grace.
