Julie Berg and other independent consultants with Top Line Creations, a scrapbooking business, have teamed up with Soldiersangels.org to raise money for phone cards for soldiers.

Berg has organized a fund-raiser called Scrapping for Soldiers, set for Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the VFW, 16306 Main Ave., Prior Lake.

The cost is $30 per scrapping space. Lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages are included. There will be goodie bags, door prizes, a silent auction and scrapbook vendors on site for shopping.

The group also is looking for donations from the community for lunch, snacks and prizes.
