The Prior Lake Police Department responded to the following incidents between Oct. 28 and Nov. 4. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.

Accidents

Oct. 29: A property-damage crash involving a 57-year-old Farmington woman and a 40-year-old Prior Lake man was reported at the intersection of Duluth Avenue and Highway 13. It was reported that the Farmington woman was traveling eastbound on Duluth Avenue. The woman made a left turn into the Village Market parking lot when she struck the Prior Lake man’s vehicle that was traveling westbound on Duluth Avenue. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. There were no injuries.

DWI

Oct. 29: A 24-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for fourth-degree driving while impaired (DWI) after police conducted a traffic stop near Highway 13 and 140th Street.

Theft

Oct. 28: A 31-year-old Maple Grove man was cited for theft at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd. It was reported that a slot machine ticket fell off a person’s lap and onto the floor when another person picked it up and handed it to the Maple Grove man who walked away without returning it.

Oct. 29: A burglary and theft of jewelry, cash and model cars valued at $760 was reported in the 16300 block of Stemmer Ridge Road.

Oct. 30: A gas drive-off of $20 was reported at Holiday Gas Station, 4460 Fountain Hills Drive.

Oct. 31: Police are investigating a report of a stolen vehicle at Mystic Lake Casino. The vehicle was later located abandoned in St. Paul.

Nov. 2: Personal items valued at $120 were reported stolen from a locker at the River Valley YMCA, 3575 North Berens Road.

Nov. 2: Theft of personal items valued at $34 was reported at the River Valley YMCA, 3575 North Berens Road.

Nov. 2: Police are investigating a burglary and theft of firearms and an undisclosed amount of cash from a home in the 15800 block of Arctic Circle.

Nov. 3: A headset and sunglasses valued at $580 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 16000 block of Main Avenue.

Fraud

Oct. 29: Police are investigating a report that a person attempted to pass a fraudulent check at Mystic Lake Casino. 

Assault

Oct. 31: A 40-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for fifth-degree domestic assault after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3800 block of Pershing Street.

Driving violations

Nov. 3: An 18-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for driving after suspension and failure to change an address on a driver’s license after police conducted a traffic stop near Highway 13 and Franklin Trail.  

Warrants

Oct. 29: A 25-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested in the 3400 block of Glynwater Trail and jailed for a Carver County warrant for financial-transaction fraud, a Washington County warrant for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and a Hennepin County warrant for driving after revocation.

Miscellaneous

Oct. 30: A 42-year-old Shakopee man was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a disturbance at Little Six Casino, 2354 Sioux Trail.
