Greater independence and increased mobility have come to Tim Lindbo since his leader dog, Boomer, returned home with him this summer.

Lindbo, who is blind, trained with Boomer at Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, Mich. earlier this year. The Prior Lake resident says Boomer is "trained to be my eyes," helping Lindbo to see where he needs to go.
