The Prior Lake Police Department responded to the following incidents between July 9 and 16. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.
Accidents
July 9: A one car property-damage accident was reported near Fairlawn Shores and Maves trails. A 17-year-old Prior Lake boy traveling west on Fairlawn Shores Trail lost control of his car and stuck a tree and a mailbox near Maves Trail. The vehicle had front-end damage. There were no injuries.
July 13: A one car property-damage accident was reported in the 16700 block of Brunswick Avenue. A 25-year-old Prior Lake man traveling west on Brunswick Avenue lost control of the car. The man then jumped out of the car and the car struck a house. The amount of damage is unknown. There were no injuries.
Theft
July 9: Theft of mail was reported in the 14700 block of Rosewood Road.
July 11: A car stereo valued at $100 was reported stolen from a car in the 5500 block of Cedarwood Street.
July 11: A wall print valued at $100 was reported stolen from South Metro Credit Union, 15045 Mystic Lake Drive. The case is under investigation.
July 11: A metal sun valued at $170 was reported at Stems and Vines, 4717 Pleasant Street.
July 14: A car stereo faceplate valued at $200 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 5700 block of Birchwood Avenue.
July 14: A bicycle valued at $10 was reported stolen at Dakotah! Sport and Fitness, 2100 Trail of Dreams.
July 14: Theft of parking money valued at $95 was reported at Sandpoint Beach, 14349 Crest Avenue.
Vandalism
July 11: Vandalism to a mailbox was reported in the 3000 block of Spring Lake Road.
July 11: Vandalism to a mailbox was reported in the 17000 block of Sunset Trail.
July 12: Vandalism to a mailbox was reported in the 4500 block of Colorado Street.
July 13: Vandalism to a mailbox was reported in the 5700 block of Birchwood Avenue.
Driving Violations
July 9: A 35-year-old Lakeville man was cited for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety and driving a vehicle with impounded license plates as a result of a previous DWI in the 14100 block of Highway 13.
Miscellaneous
July 11: A 34-year-old man from Savage was arrested and jailed for harassment, a harassment-order violation and stalking in the 2300 block of Stonecrest Path.
