The Prior Lake Police Department responded to the following incidents between April 9 and 16. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.

Accidents

April 12: A hit-and-run property damage accident was reported in the 5900 block of Crossandra Street. It was reported that a 21-year-old Prior Lake man’s car was hit while parked in the street.

April 14: A personal-injury accident was reported near Canterbury Road and 140th Street. It was reported that a 34-year-old Eagan woman and a 35-year-old Brooklyn Park woman were stopped at a red light at the intersection of Canterbury Road and 140th Street when a 46-year-old Minneapolis man rear-ended the Eagan woman. The Eagan woman’s car pushed into the rear on the Brooklyn Park woman’s car. The Eagan woman complained of neck pain. No one was transported.    

DWI

April 12: A 51-year-old Bloomington man was arrested and jailed for third-degree driving while impaired (DWI) in the 14100 block of Wilds Path.

April 12: An 18-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested and jailed for fourth-degree DWI near Eagle Creek Avenue and Revere Way.

April 12: A 48-year-old man from Savage was arrested and jailed for fourth-degree DWI near Highway 13 and South Park Drive.

April 12: A 28-year-old Burnsville man was arrested and jailed for fourth-degree DWI near 140th Street and Aspen Avenue.

April 13: A 49-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for fourth-degree DWI near Franklin Trail and Park Nicollet Avenue. 

April 13: A 24-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for third-degree DWI near Colorado Street and Arcadia Avenue.

April 13:  A 29-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested and jailed for second-degree DWI near Howard Lake Road and 154th Street. The woman has been convicted of two previous DWIs in the past 10 years. The woman had a blood alcohol content of .15.

Theft

April 9: Theft of gas was reported from two vehicles in the 5700 block of Graystone Court. It was reported that gas valued at $127.60 was siphoned from two vehicles.

April 10: A gas drive-off valued at $34 was reported at the Prior Lake Shell Gas Station, 4805 Dakota Street. The case is under investigation.  

Driving Violations

April 10: A 66-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for failure to stop for a school bus stop arm in the 5100 block of 160th Street.

April 11: A 30-year-old Prior Lake woman was cited for driving after suspension near Highway 13 and 140th Street.

April 14: A 29-year-old Prior Lake woman was cited for driving after suspension near 140th Street and Eagle Creek Avenue.  

Warrants

April 10: An 18-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for a probation-violation warrant out of Scott County in the 4700 block of Tacoma Circle.

April 11: A 37-year-old Shakopee man was arrested and jailed for a driving-after-revocation warrant out of Scott County near South Park Drive and Highway 13 Frontage Road.

April 13: A 28-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested and jailed for a probation-violation warrant out of Scott County in the 16200 block of Main Avenue.

Liquor Violations

April 15: Police received a report of a fight in the 16200 block of Lakeside Avenue. An 18-year-old Prescott, Wis., man was cited for minor consumption of alcohol. A 16-year-old Farmington girl and a 17-year-old Prior Lake girl were also cited for minor consumption of alcohol.

Miscellaneous

April 9: A 14-year-old Prior Lake boy was cited for possession of tobacco near Franklin Trail and Lyons Avenue.

April 9: An 18-year-old woman from Savage was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia near 140th Street and Crest Avenue.

April 10: A 40-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for dog at large in the 15800 block of Howard Lake Road. It was reported that a dog ran into the street barking at the squad car. The dog’s owner had been given a previous warning for dog at large.

April 13: Police observed a man urinating in public in the 16200 block of Main Avenue. A 24-year-old Lakeville man was cited for disorderly conduct.
