The Scott County Attorney’s Office charged four people with first-degree criminal damage to property and fifth-degree assault following a disturbance in the 2600 block of Wilds Lane this week.

Anthony John Killeen, 20, of Prior Lake, Joshua Simon Young, 20, of Shakopee and Dillon Mathew Grimes, 18, of Lakeville were all charged with aiding and abetting first-degree criminal damage to property, a felony, aiding and abetting fifth-degree assault-inflicting bodily harm, and aiding and abetting fifth-degree assault with fear. Young was also charged with minor consumption of alcohol.

Abigail Faith Dellwo, 18, of Prior Lake, was charged with aiding and abetting first-degree criminal damage to property, obstructing the legal process with force, fifth-degree assault with fear and minor consumption of alcohol.

Police responded to a call of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Wilds Lane at approximately 12:32 a.m. on July 12.

Upon arrival, police saw a silver Mercedes Benz parked in the roadway. The car had a cracked windshield, a shattered rear window and numerous dents and scratches. The damages to the car are estimated to be in excess of $1,000, according to the criminal complaint.

According to court documents, three people driving the car told police they drove past the Wilds Lane home when a man started yelling profanities at them. When the car came to the end of the street, which was a dead end, they turned around and drove past the house again and the man continued to yell obscenities at the car.

A woman who was driving the car stopped. A man in the passenger seat got out of the car and asked the man “what his problem was.” The man told police that a group of men and one woman came out of the house and allegedly began assaulting him by punching and kicking him numerous times, causing him bodily harm and fear of immediate bodily harm, according to the complaint.

During the assault, the man alleged that the group threatened to kill, shoot and stab him. The group also approached the car and began striking and throwing objects at the car causing damage, according to the criminal complaint.

Officers saw several small puncture wounds on the man’s back, cuts on his torso and abrasions on his knees and elbows. Police said the man who was assaulted was not transported to the hospital, but he later went to the hospital to be treated for his injuries on his own.

Officers also located several fingerprints, smudges and shoe prints on the car that were processed as evidence. Officers obtained a key that belonged to Grimes that was bent and had a red, blood-like substance on it. The key was processed as evidence.

While Dellwo was being detained in the squad, she allegedly became combative and kicked at the officers.

Officers spoke with a juvenile who was at the home and told police he witnessed Killeen, Grimes and Young assault the man.

Killeen was previously convicted of fifth-degree domestic assault in January of 2007 in Scott County.

If convicted, Young and Grimes face a maximum of five years and 360 days in prison and or $13,000 in fines. Killeen faces a maximum of seven years in prison and or $16,000 in fines. Dellwo faces a maximum of six years and 180 days in prison and or $15,000 in fines.
