Joann Marie Juten and Hans Samuel Jacobsen were married April 12, 2008 at Parents of the couple are Jay and Debbie Juten of Duluth, Scott Jacobsen of Elk River and Phyllis Oldenburg of Prior Lake. Maid of honor was Karin Jelinek of Coon Rapids. Bridesmaids were Angela, Britney and Alicia Juten of Duluth, Sonja Jacobsen of Prior Lake, Emily Waage of Duluth, and Rilee Dawson and Eveleth Mariane Walin of Brooklyn Park. Personal attendant was Lisa Mesedahl of Duluth. Groomsmen were David Berthiaume of Roseville, Jake Seidel of Two Harbors, Jens, Bjorn and Karl Jacobsen of Prior Lake, Mike Juten of Duluth and David Lloyd of Cleveland, Minn. Best man was Jesse Seidel of Two Harbors. Ushers were Kyle Heffner of Anoka, Blake Schultz of Waconia and Rob Schmidt of Chaska.Ring bearers were Lucas Niska and Guy Hansen. Flower girls were Alexandra Niska and Gentri Hansen. Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Kenneth Kotzer. Musicians were the Muus family, Christi Frost and Beth Huschle. The bride attended Duluth East High School and the College of Saint Scholastica. She is an operations coordinator for Regis Corp. The groom attended Prior Lake High School and the College of Saint Scholastica. He is an executive team lead. The couple honeymooned on a cruise.
