Excellent, thank you for the update. I know this guy is not adhering to his release conditions. It's known around the neighborhood that he and the woman he beat up are working together and they continue to see each other. I hope he is convicted and gets the 13 years - it sure will make our part of Prior Lake a nicer place to live. It finally happened to OJ maybe we can see a bit of that justice here.

So, when do we find out if this criminal was convicted for a third time for domestic abuse? I'd really like to know when this criminal will be removed from Prior Lake for his well deserved 13 years!?

The 44 year old woman with the snake. Why wasn't she charged with cruelty to animals? The snake was outside all day and all night on a black trampoline mat with at plastic tub over it. No water was provided for it either. That is cruelty even though it was a snake.

Don't teens already have a curfew that should keep them off of the roads at night after midnight (driving or not?)

I suppose that is city related, rather than a state-wide curfew?

this punk would learn a lot better lesson than the one that the courts will teach him.

I got hit by a drunk driver

I got hit by a drunk driver on the way to work. At 9 a.m. in the morning, the last thing you expect is a drunk to plow you off the road into a guard rail.
She'd had a prior DWI offense.
I was mad she put my life at risk, injured my neck, and totalled my car. But mostly, I thought how lucky I was to be in one piece, and how pathetic she looked stumbling out of her car, failing the field sobriety test.
I'm sure she'll serve almost no time and be back driving around in a new Mercedes soon.
I guess the system hopes people can/will change their actions and learn from mistakes. It doesn't account for the power of alcoholism over common sense.
Accidents happen, but getting behind the wheel when you're three times the legal limit isn't an accident.

Does the family actually need financial help to erect a fence or do they just not have one? If it's the former, then here's a novel idea -- if they can't afford a fence for FOUR dogs, maybe it would be wise to scale back to just one?

A front yard fence is a great idea. Wish I could afford one for them.. I'd hate for the family to have to keep the dogs confined..or do jail time...or even have to put them down or taken away...Afterall they are their family members...I will do some checking online to see if someone is getting rid of their old fencing....Or try KCHK raidio on Sunday mornings..The Farmers may have some sitting around.. I have tried the Shock collar for my dog and trust me, it is cruel. I shocked myself with it...The invisible fencing works some of the time...4 dogs are really a handful. I guess I oughta do some research...Then maybe volenteer to helping dig the post holes? Happy Easter to all!

Let's not forget these dogs were previously documented as dangerous and potentially dangerous. This classification doesn't have anything to do with the breed. It has to do with previous incidents involving these dogs.

I agree with Joanna and

I agree with Joanna and Rational Thought. ALL dogs need to be either leashed or fenced. It is not the responsibilty of the pedestrians to carry snacks for potential dogs. I have a dog as well, a rat terrier that is a barker and a chaser. Either my husband or I are outside with him at ALL times when he is in the front yard where he could have contact with people or other dogs. We also have an invisible fence, which he responds to very well. He will even chase a squirrel right up to the property line and then hit the brakes and slide a few feet, just in time to NOT get shocked.

Now here is something REALLY annoying....like my neighbors dog that comes into our yard to relieve himself ? ( And I'm talking # 2 - And he's a Black Lab if you get my drift ) Or the summer nights when we hear this same dog bark for over 45 minutes non-stop until 9:30pm ? I often wonder what my neighbor is doing that they cannot hear their own dog in their own backyard barking and barking and barking.....

If it's not my dog,

If it's not my dog, especially if it's a large dog, I'm not going to just assume that screaming no will do the trick. Also, I don't think I should be expected to bring biscuits with me to keep other people's dogs happy, but that's just me. When mine is in the yard, he is either on a tie out or wearing a shock collar. Even though I know he won't go anywhere with the shock collar on, I am still either in the yard with him or inside watching just in case he sees something that riles him up.
