The pizza jokes are flying!!!! however in time will hopefully fade. This bar got a bad reputation from the "get go." Hopefully Management will follow the regulations and clean up the whole ordeal. Me and my friends prefer the other social enviroments also. I like the idea of the non-smoking law..I guess that is another issue.

My wife and I have been following the story and get a kick out of it. We don't eat there. stop in for a beer and drink nw and then. My wife always complained about the restroom,lacking soap & handtowels.She wonders what the servers use for sanitation. We now found a little favorite spot with a much better enviroment and are very pleased.

I'm no expert however, I DO know the difference between Dried olives and Rat droppings. I have been to this Hollywood a few times and I know they are not known for "the food." Mainly alcohol. Wonder why the manager doesn't return any calls?

I am disgusted about the rat droppings found near the food in Hollywood..That explains my flu-like symptoms a day after eating there .I have eaten their pizza almost every month and have gotten sick a few times along with the salads...I knew there was sanitary problems by stepping into the restrooms...however, no sign of rats! Thank-goodness I haven't brought my Grandchildren in there for lunch..They may have had bigger badder problems on their hands...

I suppose anything that grows in a farm field needs to be carefully washed at home again - even if it says it's washed before being packaged I wouldn't trust it. Ick.

A lot of people have been asking how much the Kwik Trip sold for.

As I indicated in my Aug. 4 story, the tribe would not reveal the purchase price, but I have been checking with the county for a property-sale record. So far, the county has not received the paperwork. We'll keep checking on this.

Cynthia Geis, county auditor, said the county values the property at $834,700 for the land and $715,600 for the building -- a total of $1.5 million.

My family lives in this part of the Wilds. We will definitely miss the Kiwk Trip! The kids walked up there to get snacks, and I was sent on many an ice cream run. We, too, had our concerns at first about it fitting in with the neighborhood, but we quickly grew to love it. The staff there was very friendly, and we enjoyed seeing their smiling faces as we walked in the door. We were all sad to hear about the closure.
