very humorous...as a side note, never wash your belt, period. I've been training for a few years myself and have never washed a belt, let it get dirty...

That being said, I could relate with almost everything you said...but keep at it, self defense, exercise and just plain fun and interesting stuff to be learned in MMA. If you are in an even half-way respectable place, everybody has a mutual respect regardless of rank, rank doesn't mean they are better than you, it means they have been their longer and learned more than you and SHOULD be better than you...wanna really embarrass somebody, defeat a colored belt. :-)
