This is where a garage comes in handy.

Even though I can barely open the car door once inside due to the boxes of really necessary stuff that my husband cannot seem to part with, I made it very clear that I would be parking in the garage this winter (pretty much the first winter in three years because his "collection" was previously much more spread out).

Also, it's times like this that I really appreciate living under a home owners' association that takes care of snow plowing, shoveling, etc. for "significant snowfalls." I'm betting they weren't expecting to be out on March 31, though.

Yes, but today was April, and I still found myself scraping ice and brushing snow off my car this morning while my next-door neighbor used his SNOWBLOWER. I guess we really shouldn't be surprised anymore!

Tough cookies. I decided to go out like a lion this year.

I figured it was a good time for people to be snowed in with all of the great college basketball to watch. They don't call it March Madness for nothing.

Just yesterday I was picking up my yard, cleaning out the garage, looking into what veggies and herbs I am going to plant in my garden and taking a leisurely stroll through my neighborhood with my family.
