I honestly don't think the Pats can be stopped either, but all of the teams that will make the AFC playoffs are solid on both offense and defense, which will make for some great games.
As you said, Rational Thought, the fact that the Pats are playing at home throughout the playoffs and Brady has never lost a home playoff game makes them a tough team to upset.
Even if the weather does kick up, I don't think there is a team that can beat the Pats.

I agree. From here on out if the Vikings make the playoffs there is no way they can turn the ball over four times and win. Thank goodnes the Bears' offense is really that bad.

I don't think the Pats can really be stopped by either team considering they'll be playing at home. Have they ever lost a playoff game at home under Brady? The only saving grace might be if the weather kicks up like it did last weekend.

Your Browns are looking good, but the AFC is tough.

If I were the Pats there is no way I want to play the Browns or Jaguars in the playoffs.

A win is a win is a win. That said, TJack needs to play better if we are going to go anywhere in the playoffs.

This wasn't a pretty victory but it was a notch in the win column.

Go Vikes.

I wouldn't exactly say I was crying in my oatmeal this morning over the outcome of the game -- and I had a good time when I could see what was going on.

We were in row 712 (or so it seemed as I was huffing and puffing and dizzy by the time I fell into my seat) in an end zone and my depth perception is such that I couldn't understand why there was a wire stretched across the field. Then I figured out that it was for the OVERhead camera and wasn't on the turf.

I decided that watching football in person is about like golf for me because I had trouble following the ball (again with the depth perception). Once the ball left one player's hands or was kicked, I couldn't always see where it went next.

Also, football fans are a bit rowdier than fans of other sporting evnets I've attended and two Vikings fans a few rows in front of us actually got into a fistfight with each other at one point. Not sure what happened to the guy who swung first, but the other guy had a heckuva shiner by the time the game ended. Another guy was getting dragged out by two cops shortly after halftime as I was making my way back from the bathroom. He did not look happy -- or sober.

There was also some vomiting going on around us -- and I'm guessing it wasn't from the altitude.

Predictions from the pundits

Predictions from the pundits in Chicago don't look pretty for the Bears -- and they all have something to say about Orton, as well as AP.

This actually will be the first time I've ever attended a professional football game vs. watching it on TV so I'm psyched regardless of how it ends up.

Have fun with that... Hope you don't cheer for the Bears too loud, those seats can get roudy.
Do you really think Kyle Orton will give you something to cheer about?

I'm with you Savage Guy, Go Vikes (and win out).

The Giants really do look bad don't they.

I blame it in part to injuries and in part to Eli Manning, who is not the quarterback anyone in New York probably wishes he was.

As much of a near lock as they have on a playoff bid, if they don't win next week against the Bills they could be in trouble as their playoff chances would rely on them beating the Pats (good luck with that).

Should be a good race to the finish.

The biggest mystery team to me this year is the Giants. How did this team get to 9 wins?!? They looked awful against us and awful against Washington and yet they almost have the #5 seed locked up. Incredible.

We control our own destiny. Win out and leave nothing to chance! Go Vikes!

Well, I'm a little worried about those Saints, as well.

I agree, the Saints biggest test could come against Philly, but I am not ruling the Bears out of anything when it comes to playing a spoiler.

Looks like the Vikes are going to have to put themselves in the playoffs by winning out.

It's a big game tonight against the Bears.

Should be a good one.
