The Minnesota Inter-County Association (MICA) – in conjunction with the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities (AMM) – is pleased to be hosting an upcoming Transportation Breakfast Forum on Thursday, February 15. The Forum, which will highlight issues specific to transportation and transit funding, will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the Savage City Council Chambers (6000 McColl Road) and will feature remarks from Bob McFarland, Assistant to the Commissioner of Transportation; State Senator Steve Murphy, Chair of the Senate Transportation Committee; and State Senator Scott Dibble, Chair of the Senate Transportation Committee’s Subdivision on Transit. After the formal presentations, audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments on transportation concerns. MICA and AMM welcome and encourage anyone with an interest in transportation and transit issues to attend this event.
