One thing that I have truly come to appreciate in my life is great quotes. Quotes about life, love, loss, happiness and anything that is said in a poetic, yet helpful kind of way. Many of my favorite quotes come from authors, musicians, politicians, actors/actresses, philosophers and athletes, but greatquotes can come from anyone, anywhere at anytime.
My goal here is to have a place on our Web site that people can access when they are having a moment and need a light to show them that they are not the only people who are going through a certain situation or feeling a certain way.
So… I hope that people will share quotes with me and anyone else who visits this site on a variety of topics including wisdom, humor, philosophical ideals, whatever, just make sure it is clean enough to put on my blog, accurate and attributed.
I will start this out, but not with my favorite quote, because this is a work in progress, and if I give it my best right off the bat, what do I have to build towards? I will try to post my favorite quotes as I think of them or hear new ones and I hope that you do the same, because it is no fun to read quotes that I already know and like. Who do you think are the most quotable people of all time? What are your favorite quotes to live by or to learn from?

Crime would go down and the city would be a happier place.
