Maybe, it's the heat. Maybe it’s life.
I've had a lot of silly revelations lately.
Of course, I felt I should share my random thoughts, since you’re nice enough to read my blog. Perhaps, you have similar odd-ball ideas to send my way.
My brain waves were working overtime as I drove past a construction site on 35W Sunday. I realized that the Port-a-Potties are situated very close to the road. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable going to the bathroom right next cars whizzing by (pun intended). I think construction workers should get a raise if they have to work a full day and use that bathroom.
Deep thought two: 2-percent milk only has 38-percent less fat than whole milk according to the container. I think they should rename it. I understand that two percent means the fat by weight in the milk. It just makes it sound as though the milk is 98-percent fat free, which it is not. This is useful information for anyone planning to visit the all-you-can-drink milk booth at the State Fair (which I like to do after stopping to checkout the giant head carved from butter).
Addendum: I'm probably not gaining weight from milk. Any excess pudge likely has more to do with the entire bag of "snack size" candy that I polishe d off last week. Maybe, the snack-sized bars should be labeled with a percentage related to the portion of fat contrasted with the full-sized candy bar? That would make me feel better.
Lastly, related to my previous “injury” blog (which I'm sure you all read), I recently learned in an article that hydrogen peroxide isn’t what I should have put on my bug bite that swelled to epic proportions (and now has diminished and has been replaced by a grouping of new summer scrapes and bruises, on which I splashed more hydrogen peroxide).
Research from a Journal of Family Practice study published in 1987 that said hydrogen peroxide did not inhibit bacterial growth. It can inflame the skin surrounding a cut or scrape and increase healing time. Good thing I doused all of my summer wounds in the stuff. Oh well.
Neosporin is back in business from now on.

no to peroxide and...
Back to page topno to peroxide and neosporin. try 100 percent tea tree oil. works great and doesn't have a bunch of junk in it that's harmful.
