On Saturday, June 27, Scott County will be holding a Residential Pesticide Collection at the Scott County Household Hazardous Waste Facility, in cooperation with the MN Department of Agriculture. While it is true that the Scott County HHW Facility always accepts used residential pesticides from Scott County households, this particular collection event will allow us to save local tax dollars, because the Department of Ag has agreed to cover the disposal costs of all pesticides collected from 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon at this collection event only.

This is a good reason to clean out all of those stockpiles of old pesticides from your garage or shed. Please help us take advantage of this great opportunity!
