We've come a long way with spy toys, haven't we? Back in the day, a Red Ryder decoder ring was all you needed to figure out anything, right?
Just for the record, though, that was before my day. I just learned about Red Ryder by watching movies ("A Christmas Story" and "Phantom of the Open Hearth") based on the books of Jean Shepherd -- who just happened to be from my hometown of Hammond, Ind.
Oink. Instead of getting your child a pony (so cliche), how about one of these mini pigs for the holidays. They end up about the size of a small dog, and the piglets are adorable! Of course, no one in the video clip addresses the "smell" issue.
I think the CNN video says they're house trained. They're very smart animals. I'd love to see my dog's reaction to me bringing home a new pet pig. That would be funny.

It interacts with a Blutooth PDA, so you can travel light.
Of course, people may look at you funny as you type away on your "imaginary keyboard" at a coffee shop or the library.

Another holiday "must-have"...
Back to page topAnother holiday "must-have" or gift is one of these USB port Christmas decorations or snowmen for your desk at work. The perfect gift for the person who has everything? I bet he or she doesn't have a desk-sized USB remote controlled car.

Back to page topJoanna, I think that's a great idea. Can you house-train the piggies to do their business outside?

Back to page topI thought pigs were clean animals...at least that's what I've heard. Can they really smell as bad as dogs sometimes do?
