I had a scare this morning. I drive past the P.Lake middle schools at 6:30 a.m. when it is still dark. Normally there is not a student or teacher in the crosswalk at this time of day, except for this morning. I almost didn't see him due to the darkness of the area. Perhaps a button to push that would activate a flashing light would help in this crosswalk. By the way, I wasn't speeding either, just on my way to work at an early hour and perhaps not realizing there might be walkers out at this time.
