All after-school and evening Prior Lake-Savage Area Community Education Classes have been canceled for today, Monday, March 31.
Participants will be notified with a make-up schedule.

A Shakopee man convicted in the alcohol-related crash that killed Timberwolves guard Malik Sealy was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of drunken driving.
Souksangouane Phengsene, 51, was booked into the Hennepin County Jail around 2 a.m. State Patrol spokesman Mark Peterson said Phengsene is likely to face a felony DWI charge.

As the 2008 track campaign begins, the Laker girls will be looking to build on one of their more successful seasons in recent memory.
Last year, the Lakers rolled to the Missota Conference championship and also secured a berth in the state True Team meet, where they ultimately finished sixth.

In the spirit of “Build it and they will come,” Tom Melchior of Shakopee has written a book chronicling amateur baseball in Scott County.
It seems amateur baseball players and fans have been waiting for just such a book. Melchior planned on having 350 of the historical tomes printed, but with pre-orders at 320, he opted for a one-time printing of 550 copies of “Scott County Baseball.”
