The Prior Lake Library will offer two winter sessions of Toddler
Time, 30 minutes of stories and rhymes for children 18 to 36 months and
parents, starting Thursday, Jan. 17.
Session I runs for four weeks, Jan. 17 through Feb. 7, on
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Session II runs for the following four weeks, Feb. 14
through March 6, on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Registration is required as class size is limited, and
participants may sign up for either session in person or by phone.
I am not going to lie… When Troy Williamson was drafted seventh overall in 2005 I bought into the excitement. A fast, young receiver who could step into a role of stretching the defense with one little set-back, his hands were questionable.

There is nothing questionable about Williamson’s hands.

The Minnesota Deer Hunters Association of Scott and Carver
counties will have its annual banquet Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Shakopee Ballroom
and Banquet Center,

Social hour begins at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 16 and under. Proceeds will be
used for education, deer habitat improvement and the archery range.

Backed by 18 points from senior Kristjan Johnson, the Lakers crushed Rogers 77-56 in the third-place game at the Tartan Invitational Dec. 29.
Prior Lake, which improved to 5-3 overall, also got 13 points from Tor Anderson and 12 more from Ben Snyder.

Minnesota Twin Glen Perkins received a membership to a local hunting club for Christmas this year.
The Stillwater native pitched in relief for the Twins baseball team last season.

The Laker girls went 0-3 at the Hill-Murray Invitational, which concluded Dec. 29.
Senior Casey Christian led the Lakers, who dropped to 1-9 overall, in scoring in each game, averaging almost 18 points per contest.
